How do I book an appointment?

I’ve been injured in an accident? Do you provide or coordinate transportation services?

We offer round trip transportation for our motor vehicle accident clients who would otherwise have difficulty presenting to our clinics. This service ensures that our clients do not sustain interruptions in treatment due to accessibility and that injuries are not exacerbated due to long trips on public transportation. Depending on the patient’s conditions, we can provide courtesy transportation within the GTA. That includes a round trip to our clinic and back home.

Do I need a referral from my family doctor prior to beginning therapy?

No. You don’t need a referral from your family doctor to start treatment at our facility. However, if you do have a referral, please bring it with you on your first visit. If you would like to request an appointment, please click here.

After the accident, the insurer has sent me some forms to complete. Can someone help me fill them out?

Absolutely. We can efficiently help filling out paper work and claim submission to your insurer. This enables you to obtain faster access to your treatment and also helps to shorten overall recovery time.

My insurance company has sent me to an insurer preferred clinic? Do I have a choice as to which clinic to attend?

Yes, choosing a healthcare facility is ultimately your decision. You should be making informed decisions about which healthcare facility or providers will be involved in your care. There is not obligation to attend any healthcare facility recommended by your insurer.

What will my first visit be like?

On your first visit, we will evaluate your function, pain, severity of injury, and prescribe the appropriate treatment program. We can help with all aspects of treatment, including filling out paper work, claim submission, imaging, and medical services as required. You may also start your physical therapy on your first visit.

Who will pay for my treatment?

Under the Financial Services Commission of Ontario, it is mandatory to exhaust your workplace health insurance prior to your auto insurance being. If you do not have extended health benefits through your workplace, or have exhausted these benefits, your auto insurance will fully cover the remainder of your treatment often for a minimum of 12 weeks. Our staff will help provide you with the necessary information to coordinate payments from your insurance providers.

I feel very anxious, nervous and stressed since the accident. How can I get help?

A motor vehicle accident can be one of the most traumatic events in a person’s life, both from a physical perspective and an emotional perspective. Our team of specialist possess the necessary expertise to help make this entire experience a less traumatic one. With appropriate therapy and education, the feelings of anxiety, nervousness and stress diminish. If symptoms persist, we can refer you to our staff psychologist for further evaluation or treatment.
